Summary:
Duties involve taking still photographs using varied types of photographic equipment.
Assignments involve photographing portrait event glamour and advertising pictures both in the studio and on location.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Schedules and takes portraits and or photographs using medium and small format and polaroid cameras.
Pose individual or groups so that proper balance and symmetry are attained.
Ensures that background and lighting are adjusted properly.
- Schedules and takes pictures of weddings and special events including but not limited to grand-opening annual Christmas parties and retirements.
- Maintains photographic supplies and equipment in good repair.
Assumes responsibility for security of equipment.
- Travels to assigned locations for photographic sales promotions during limited period of time.
- Actively pursues clients business for NEX photo department.
Works toward achieving designated monthly sales and net profit targets.
- Operates a motor vehicle van to carry supplies equipment and props in the performance of assignments.
- May supervise subordinates.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications GENERAL
Experience:
3 years of experience gained in administrative technical or photographic work or other related work that enabled you to gain knowledge of photography and or customer service practices and procedures skill in dealing with others in person-to-person work relationships and the ability to exercise mature judgment.
OR SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR
Experience:
1 year academic study above the high school level may be substituted for 9 months of experience up to maximum of a 4 year bachelor s degree of general experience.
AND SPECIALIZED
Experience:
1 year of experience in professional photography that required knowledge of operating and maintaining a variety of photographic equipment and techniques including lighting backgrounds printing requirements set-up etc.
